ST03A - Licensing -> Registration

The registration process has to be carried out with the same ST03A installation on the same computer where the requested access level will be used. This is because the request file contains computer specific information (machine identifier) and the generated key works on the same machine only.

This is how you can apply for an Operator or OEM access level:

1. Start your ST03A installation.
2. Select the Tools / Licensing / Request... menu item.
3. Fill out the request form that is displayed. The ID field must contain the license ID from the cover of the official CD.
4. Press the Save... button and save the request into a file (*.kbr).
5. Send the request file to our Hotline Service via e-mail ().
It is suggested to indicate the level of access you need within your e-mail.
6. If your request was accepted then the Hotline Service will send you the necessary information on the activation of the appropriate access level. In case of ST03A V2.4.07 or newer this information is a 20 characters long key. Access level permissions for earlier ST03A versions are delivered in the form of an answer file (*.kba).

The procedure below shows the actions you need to take if you have received a 20 characters long key and you want to activate the key granted functionality:

1. Start your ST03A installation.
2. Select the Tools / Licensing / Answer... menu item.
3. Paste or type the 20 characters long code into the answer panel.
4. Press the Add button.
5. Press the OK button on the answer dialog.
6. ST03A automatically switches on the features offered by the new access level. No ST03A restart is required.
