Ordering
To obtain a license ID required for registering and activating (*) your ST03A installation or to order a version upgrade for your existing license, please contact
— your designated Knorr-Bremse representative (the person who provides your company with Service Terminal project files or from whom you ordered your existing ST03A licenses)
— or the general contacts closest to your location.
They will assist you in ordering.
Serial numbers (= license IDs) for ordered single-seat ST03A licenses are listed on the delivery note in the "Serialnumber / Production date" section. If a physical installation CD is also supplied, each unique serial number (license ID) will be placed as a paper label on a separate CD.
If you already have a registered license but intend to use a newer ST03A version, you must order a version upgrade for your license ID if the initial registration of the license was done before the official release date of that ST03A version. For licenses where a version upgrade has already been ordered, the delivery date stated on the invoice or/and on the delivery note for the latest version upgrade will be used instead of the original registration date.
For example, if your license ID was first registered on December 12, 2018, or if this date is stated on the invoice as the delivery date for the latest version upgrade for that license, the highest ST03A version with which you can re-register your license without ordering a (new) version upgrade is V3.8.01 (released on March 19, 2018).

The ST03A technical support may provide an activation code (license key) for Operator or OEM access levels only if a valid license ID is entered in the request form. One serial number cannot be used on multiple computers simultaneously. If you need to transfer your single-seat ST03A license one workstation to another computer, you must first revoke the license from the current ST03A installation before registering it on the new system.
