Registration

For registering and activation of your installation of ST03A you will need your license ID (serial number). You will need to complete the request form and either activate your license online or send the Knorr-Bremse license request file to ST03A technical support team via email.

If the computer with the Service Terminal installation to be activated is connected to the internet:

  • Fill in the request form (Tools / Licensing / Request...).
  • Click Online to send the content of the form to the license server.
  • After a while a dialog window will appear asking if you would like to activate the license key.
  • Click Yes.

If the online activation is not possible (as for ST03A releases older than V3.0.72) or fails due to any reason (i.e. no internet connection):

  • Fill in the request form (Tools / Licensing / Request...).
  • Click Save and save a request file (*.kbr) on your local computer.
  • Send this *.kbr file attached to an e-mail to ST03A technical support team.
  • You will receive an answer with an activation code (= license key).
  • Activate the license key in the Tools / Licensing / Answer... panel: copy the key, paste it in the Key: field, and click Add.
