Registration

For registering and activation of your installation of ST03A you will need the ID on the label of your CD cover. You will need to fill in the license request form and either activate your license online or send a Knorr-Bremse license request file to the Hotline Service Terminal.

If the computer with the Service Terminal installation to be activated is connected to the internet:

  • Fill in the license request form (Tools / Licensing / Request...).
  • Click Online to send the content of the form to the license server.
  • After a while a dialog window will appear asking if you would like to activate the license key.
  • Click Yes.

If the online activation is not possible (as for ST03A versions older than V3.0.72) or fails due to any reason (i.e. no internet connection):

  • Fill in the license request form (Tools / Licensing / Request...).
  • Click Save and save a request file (*.kbr) on your local computer.
  • Send this *.kbr file attached to an e-mail to ST03A technical support team.
  • You will receive an answer with an activation code (= license key).
  • Activate the license key in the Tools / Licensing / Answer... panel: copy the key, paste it in the Key field, and click Add.
