Board Configuration Check

The check is based on the board configuration check database, described in a Retrofit.db file. This file is versioned and can be updated manually or online from a Knorr-Bremse site.

Check for updates upon ST03A launch controls whether ST03A automatically checks on startup if a new version of the database is available online and downloads it if found. Actually this check is performed only on the first ST03A start every day. On further ST03A launches it is repeated only if the previous checks failed e.g. due to lack of internet connection.

ST03A versions affected: V3.8.01 and higher
